I am 16 weeks pregnant and I have gestational diabetes. Well, i can only have snacks that are 15 carbs or less. Well, I eat my last snack around 2 or 2:30 but, I usually don’t eat until 5:30 & 6. I get so hungry during the time of 2:30 to 5:30…are there any no carb foods that you know of that I could eat during that time. I also I notice that I’ve been eating supper about 5:30 or 6 and then around 8. So is it okay to eat late at night.
fruits and veggies are low calorie! its OK to eat late just don’t go to bed right away stay up for about an hour after u eat

Can somebody please give me some good foods that a diabetic can eat without having their glucose skyrocket
any meats, cheeses, eggs don't raise glucose at all.
Now to test what foods do to or for you:
test your glucose level, eat the food, say a cup of milk or a banana, 90 minutes to 2 hours after the first test, test again. Journal everything.
if the food raises your glucose level more than 50 points, consider whether you want to continue to have it on a regular basis, a little bit of it occasionally or delete it entirely from your food plan.
I do this on a regular basis, when meds change, when I change exercise plans or routines, when my glucose seems to be getting too high!!
Journal your whole days for about a month or two!! It will help you to see what you are doing right and what is wrong with your lifestyle plan.
Good luck!!

I never want to give it directly after she eats cuz she's not digesting yet but I don't want to wait TOO long… what's the ideal time to wait after she's finished eating to give insulin?
Your vet needs to be advising you on this.
Insulin dependant Diabetes is NOT something you should be getting help for over the internet.
CALL YOUR VET. If he's closed, call an EMERGENCY vet.

Yes, I asked this morning, but I'm asking again-wondering if you were diagnosed with gestational diabetes, what if any symptoms did you have? The few answers I got this morning said they had no symptoms really. That surprises me.
Thanks!
Oh-I have googled this info several times and found out what the basic symptoms are-BUT I am wanting to know your personal experiences with it.
I had GD and the only symptom I had was extreme blurred vision. I was trying to read the back of a package at Wal-mart and no matter where I held the package I COULD NOT read it, it was completely blurry. It just so happened that I was to take the test the next day, but, I already knew the answer. Do you have GD? If you do, try not to worry. I followed the doctors orders and ate right and watched my blood sugar. I only had to take a small amount of insulin at the very end of my pregnancy and my baby weighed only 6 lbs. and is perfect. Good luck!

Read about this herb known for being a sugar destroyer, and am trying it. Only a week so far, it hasn't busted the sugar factor, but I can really see a difference in inches melting away, amazingly? Whata ya think?
I think that gymnema, bitter melon, cinnamon, alpha lipoic acid, fenugreek, and a few others, all help to keep us normalized. My last HbA1C was 5.8, so something I'm doing must be working. Read this for more:

My father just had major surgery and after the hospital said
he was a diabetic. But I'm a diabetic and have checked his
bloodsugar at home from time to time and it has alway's been
normal under 100. At the hospital it hasn't been higher than
120 after a meal and 70-80 before so what's up?
Sometimes illness, especially in the elderly can cause diabetic symptoms, also it could be related to certain medications that he may be on. I would talk to his doctor or nurse next time you are at the hospital, just to get clarification.
